PADI Upgrade

Upgrade your skills and knowledge to a full SDI/NAUI Scuba Diver certification!

If you are interested in becoming a full SDI/NAUI Scuba Diver, you can build upon your PADI Open Water* certification and become a more knowledgeable and skilled diver.

This course will increase your knowledge base on the equipment, science, physiology, dive tables, rescue and safety aspects of diving so you can dive with more confidence. You will be introduced to basic snorkeling skills as well as scuba rescues and incremental skills. The course consists of eLearning, one classroom sessions, and at least one pool session after which you will receive an SDI/NAUI Scuba Diver certification card.

At Diver’s World we don’t compromise on safety and believe that divers shouldn’t either.

*note: PADI OW certification does meet the minimum training standards of the WRSTC and is accepted by Diver’s World as proof of basic  open water scuba training. Your SDI/NAUI Scuba Diver certification from Diver’s World exceeds these minimum training standards.

The PADI Upgrade is designed for PADI Open Water divers 12 years or older in good physical condition.

Student Provides

Students will need to provide all of their own equipment for training dives. Diver’s World has rental tanks, regs, BCDs and wetsuits if you do not own these items.

At this point in your diving experience you may want to consider investing in a dive computer if you don’t already own one.
