Course Description
Drift diving allows a diver to travel over a large area without expending much energy. You simply get neutrally buoyant and enjoy the dive as the scenery moves past you. The SDI Drift Diver course is designed to teach divers the skills, knowledge, and necessary techniques to properly conduct drift dives.
Who Can Enroll?
As long as you are 10 years or older, hold a Scuba Diver certification, you can enroll in a Diver’s World Drift Diver course.
What's Included?
Drift Diver is a 3-hour course of class room instruction right here at Diver’s World followed by a written test. You will then demonstrate your new skills by executing two open water dives. As always, you can count on the staff of Diver’s World to make your learning experience interesting and fun!
Student Provides
Students will need to provide all of their own equipment for training dives. Diver’s World has rental tanks, regs, BCDs and wetsuits if you do not own these items. You must have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) and finger spool.
At this point in your diving experience you may want to consider investing in a dive computer if you don’t already own one.
Students will be responsible for any charter fees or travel for open water dives.
