SDI Divemaster Program
Ready to turn your passion for diving into leadership? The SDI Divemaster Program is your first step into the world of professional diving. This course is designed to build strong dive leaders who can supervise certified divers, assist instructors, and share their love of diving with others — all while sharpening their own skills to a professional level.
Throughout the program, you’ll work closely with an SDI Instructor, gaining hands-on experience in dive theory, site management, supervising groups, and problem-solving underwater. You'll fine-tune your skills through pool sessions, open water dives, classroom workshops, and real-world scenarios. Our program is personal, challenging, and supportive, giving you the tools to be confident and capable in the water and above it.
The Divemaster Program is limited in size to ensure a high-quality learning experience with lots of one-on-one mentorship. Tanks and weights are included; candidates will need to provide or rent full scuba gear.
Program Includes:
- Academic sessions (leadership-level dive theory and practical skills)
- Pool skill development and evaluations
- Supervised real-world training with students and certified divers
- Tanks and weights (gear available for rent if needed)
Prerequisites:
- SDI Advanced Adventure Diver and Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum age 18
- Minimum of 40 logged dives to start, 60 to certify
