Drysuit Diver

While dry suits were once used almost exclusively for situations such as ice diving or deep wreck diving, many sport divers are now using dry suits regularly for everyday recreational dives all over the world. Perhaps you live in a cold-water climate or would just like to be warmer regardless of where you dive.  If so, the NAUI Dry Suit Diver course is for you!

This course provides training in the use of dry suits to become familiar and comfortable with their thermal protection options, controls and buoyancy characteristics. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities while using a dry suit, without supervision, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training

As long as you are 15 years or older and in good physical condition, you can enroll in a Diver’s World Drysuit Specialty course. You will also need to hold a Scuba Diver Certification (or be enrolled in a Scuba Diver Course).
