Open Water Training Dives for Master Diver and Advanced Diver students at Thousand Islands/Alexandria Bay.
A great opportunity to dive in the warm waters of the St. Lawrence Seaway and get some training in.
$250 per diver includes four shore dives (including a night dive), two dives from a charter boat in the river, two nitrox fills* and two air fills* for the weekend.
You must call ahead to register and rent equipment. Equipment rental is on a first-come first-served basis.
*Each diver must bring four tanks. Four fills are included from Diver’s World. Divers will have to procure two more fills on site.
Niagara drift dive & picnic. 10 am. Meet at Burger King Grand Island, New York. Bob Noel is coordinating.
Come join Diver’s World, the PA Department of Environmental Protection, PA Coastal Resources Management, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, representatives from PA DCNR and others to help clean up our beautiful Presque Isle State Park. The International Coastal Cleanup is one of the largest international volunteer events. The cleanup gives citizens around the world the opportunity to clean up their local waterways and to be a part of a larger movement.
Divers are wanted to help with underwater clean up. Snorkelers are also welcome as well as those who want to provide shore support.
Divers must furnish or rent their own equipment but all divers who participate will receive a FREE airfill card from Diver’s World.
Required Equipment:
All personal snorkeling and scuba equipment, cutting device, gloves, mesh collection bag. We have a small supply of mesh collection bags but there may be a small fee to cover the cost of them.
